BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100
Do you already own a photo camera and would like to create impressive pictures of the night sky with the help of the long exposure or even make time-lapse pictures with little effort ? The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical PhotoMount PM-100 is the ideal base. Not only for beginners in astrophotography, this mount is particularly well suited, but also the experts swear by a compact and easy-to-use mount to automatically compensate for the natural rotation of the earth. The built-in tracking motor rotates the saddle-mounted camera precisely against the earth's rotation and thus the stars remain in pinpoint shape even with long exposures. If you already own a sturdy photo tripod with a video tilt head you can use the photo mount's head directly with the 1/4 inch & 3/8 inch photo thread holes. The pole height (latitude) is then adjusted by the video tilt head. The photo-mount with tripod with carry-case and polar wedge are also available as a bundle - Product No.: 4964120 Which cameras are basically suitable for use with the BRESSER photo mount ? All cameras with ¼ inch (6.3mm) tripod connection thread and bulb length" B "for long exposure are suitable. The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100 is designed for a camera with lens of max. 2.0 kg total weight to carry and track in polar mode. In Azimut mode also a camera weight up to 5.0kg is possible.  Large aperture, wide-angle lenses are ideal for the beginning, because the requirements for tracking accuracy accumulate with increasing focal length and exposure time. Thus, a shot with wide-angle lens can be exposed for up to several minutes and the stars remain punctiform without problems. For example, with a 200mm telephoto lens the polar alignment of the photo mount must be exactly right. But thanks to the integrated pole finder tunnel, this is done quickly. After setting up the light and compact StarTracker Photo Mount, simply set the approximate latitude (pole height) and aim Polaris through the integrated pole finder tunnel. Then mount the camera with the photo lens using the quick-release plate on the supplied ball head. With the ball head, the camera can be aligned and determined at any time on any section of the sky. As soon as the tracking motor is switched on, long-time exposure can be started immediately. This does not even take 5 minutes ... The tracking is carried out by a precise stepper motor, which can be controlled by an easy digital setup on LCD screen. Low power consumption allows up to 20 hours of operation with just one battery charge or simply use the micro USB port for an unlimited power supply. FEATURES Equatorial StarTracker Photo-Mount Automatic siderial tracking against the Earth rotation  Different tracking speed setting possible Suitable for northern and southern henisphere Time lapse: from 15 minutes to 48 hours Ballhead with quick release saddle plate and 1/4" Photo thread for Kamera mountingPhoto-Mount with 1/4" threaded bolt for ballhead mounting Additional quick release coupling for ball head removal High precision stepper motor with helical gear for accurate tracking Clear LCD screen and easy setup menu Battery operation 4 x AA batteries or mico USB (optional acc.)  Battery life: up to 20 hours Weight Photo-Mont: 0.63kg Load capacity of Photo-Mount: up to 2.0kg/5.0kg (EQ/AZ) Optional Acc: Polar-wedge, Tripod and carry-case, optical pole finder scope with illumination unit SCOPE OF DELIVERY StarTracker astronomical Photo-Mount head Ballhead with quick release saddle plate User manual

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Ultra Light 20'' Dobson 500mm f/3.6 GENERATION II
Ultra Light Dobsonian 500mm GENERATION II - telescope mechanics handcrafted in HUNGARY and GERMANY No telescope type has influenced amateur astronomy as radically as the dobsonian telescope. Before the introduction of this telescope type by John Dobson the vast majority of amateur telescopes were small inadequate refractors on shaky mounts - just good enough to show the polar regions on mars or the rings of Saturn. Bigger telescopes, like the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, were restricted to the relatively small group of amateurs that could afford them. The brilliant combination of simple - but effective - mechanics and the largest aperture available led to a worldwide triumph of this concept. No other telescope type offers you so much light for your money as a good dobson. We have taken the motto held together by gravity and driven by yoghurt power and offer a modern version of the classic - designed by amateur astronomers for amateur astronomers. Despite its large aperture the telescope can be transported easily even in small cars and is assembled within minutes without tools. The construction was optimized for maximum rigidity with a minimum of mass. The combination of big altitude wheels and a optimized aluminium-sandwich construction allows for small movements even at high magnifications. The focus position is already positioned to accept our coma-corrector (part No. 0510330) . The ideal workhorse for the deep-sky enthusiast. A telescope with 500mm aperture gathers more than 5100-times more light than the naked eye. Details on planetary surfaces stand out even to unexperienced observers, and countless deep-sky objects show details and some color. Bright globular clusters are resolved down to the core and the view of the lunar terminator will provide a unforgettable experience. The fast 20’’ f3.6 main mirror as well as the large 120mm secondary mirror are made of high quality quartz material, so the cooling time is reduced to a minimum and the Dobson is quickly ready for use. Every main mirror is delivered with an individual optical test certificate, which guarantees the highest capacity. A laser engraved center mark of the main mirror allows easy adjustment. The optical surface has a high-quality aluminum silvering with 94% reflectivity and an extremely resistant quartz protection layer. The mirror overcomes frequently occurring dew fogging and cleanups without any damages and guarantees a long service life. A complete redesign of this Dobson was necessary to ensure the significantly increased requirements to stiffness and load bearing capacity of the optical components. All connections of the tube structure were made in the TIG welding process and no rivets and screws were used. This has made it possible for us to produce this 20’’ light weight Dobson so unbelievably stiff in spite of the low weight - a noticeably good quality which is searching for its match. The production of almost all mechanical components is carried out by our partners in Hungary and the final assembly of the optics and subsequent quality control takes place in Rhede, Germany. The equipment details of the smaller Dobson models, which have been popular for years, have been taken over and even extended considerably. First of all, of course, the very good decomposability and transportability should be mentioned. Set-up and dismantling can be carried out without tools. The main and secondary mirrors are adjustable during the observation and only two adjusting screws have to be moved. Thanks to the use of precision ball-heads in the main mirror cell and a precision hinge for secondary mirror suppport, the adjustment is absolutely easy and guarantees excellent stability. All connecting parts of the tube trusses now consist of CNC machined aluminum and are attached by stainless steel dowel screws. The secondary mirror can now also be adjusted by the adjusting screws in the direction of the optical axis. The tried and tested 2.5’’ HEXAFOC focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment has been used for years - this allows vignetting-free observation despite the fast aperture ratio. A second 40° displaced installed mounting plate with a viewfinder shoe allows the rotation of the tube top in combination with a favorable position of the viewfinder tube or the mounting of an additional TELRAD viewfinder. The 6 supporting feet underneath the rockerbox offer a perfect stability and guarantee a smooth tracking in azimuth. Four smaller fans are installed in the side of the mirror box as well as a large fan is installed under the main mirror. This allows an even quicker adaptation to the ambient temperature and reduces the tube seeing (boundary layer removal). The lateral altitude wheels can now be stowed comfortably in the foam layers of the mirror box. Last but not least another gimmick: The optical tube and the mirror cell are designed to use also on heavy equatorial mounts. Dimensions for mobile use: DIMS total: 680x680x1790mm; Rockerbox 678mmx678mmx347mm; Mirrorbox 590mmx590mmx361mm; Trusses approx. 1084mm; Truss diameter: 25mm; Eyepiece height while pointing at zenith approximately 1,63m; 20’’ Total net weight: 53 kg; 20’’ Mirror Box + Altitude wheels: 35,8kg; 20’’ Secondary Cage: 3,8kg; Rockerbox: 10,6 kg; 20’’ 4 Truss pairs: 2,8kg; 20’’ Primary mirror: 20kg SPECIFICATIONS Truss-Dobsonian telescope in full Aluminium construction Handcrafted in HUNGARY and GERMANY Fast 20’’ f3.6 optics with 1800mm focal length Large 120mm secondary mirror (short axis) Quarz primary- and secondary mirror set Laser engraved central mark on primary mirror Eyepiece height while pointing at zenith approximately 1,63m Full welded rigid telescope structure - no rivets and no screws Telescope tube and rockerbox powder-coated Collimation while observing with the delivered tooling DeLuxe 2,5’’ HEXAFOC focuser with 1:10 gear-reduction 8x50 finder scope with red illuminated reticle Slider bearings made from TEFLON und GRP for smooth and precise movement Improved primary mirror cell with completely redesigned mechanics High precision hinge system for secondary mirror holder Secondary mirror holder with adjustment mechnism along the optical axis 6 larger feet to improve stability Counter-weights (4 x 1.0 kg) included 2 universal finder slots to enable an easy finder position Quick-lock fasteners with new springloaded design for comfortable use Large powder-coated yellow altitude wheels for smooth tracking Altitude wheels can be stored in the mirror box 5 cooling fans are speeding up the cool-down time SCOPE OF DELIVERY Truss Dobsonian Telescope Individual optical test report for primary mirror 8x50 finder with red illuminated reticle Stray light shield for secondary cage Primary mirror collimation tool Battery compartment with bag for fans Extension tube for focuser Reducer 2’’/1.25’’ Manual SHIPPING DIMENSION - truck shipment only in order to guarantee a save transport: BOX1: 600x600x380 approx. 44 kg ; BOX2: 690x690x330 approx. 17 kg ; BOX3: 150x150x1150 approx. 4 kg

Vixen AXD2 with VMC 260 Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope
AXD2 GoTo mount with VMC260L telescope set The AXD2 mount comes with the new STARBOOK TEN controller and the PFL polar viewfinder, which allows you to configure the mount quickly and easily via reference stars. This telescope set has everything that you need for hobby astronomy. The set includes a telescope, a mount with automatic tracking and a stable tripod. Featuring the STARBOOK TEN controller, the telescope locates celestial objects automatically so that you don’t need to search for them manually. Even if you’re not an expert, you can still give your friends an exciting tour through the night sky! The AXD 2 mount in detail: Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic) The RA and DEC axes are made using the A7075 superalloy, one the strongest aluminium alloys. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable. 21 bearings The rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects. Stepper motors Vixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes. Worm gears The sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the RA axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability. Low backlash The Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears. Elegant design The flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality. The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range. Original motor layout The solid RA and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing. Polar finder scope The AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere. For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky. VPEC periodic error correction Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory and corrected before delivery. This is known as VPEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount. It delivers an accuracy of +/- 2.8 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors. The VMC 260 in detail The optics of the VMC260L are significantly better than the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Despite its high 3000 mm focal length, it is just 650 mm long. Featuring a large 260 mm aperture, the telescope collects large amounts of light for serious professional observations and photography of the planets and countless deep-sky objects. Thanks to the dielectric mirrors, the VMV260L guarantees razor-sharp images and maximum brightness. The open lens barrels cool the telescope quicker than conventional closed Cassegrain systems. The telescope can be used with an optional 0.62x focal reducer to reduce the aperture ratio to 1:7.1. This shortens the exposure times and allows you to photograph large objects. The telescope comes with a standard dovetail bar and a carry handle that doubles up as a camera holder for night sky photography. LUNT LS130MT/B1200R&P Multipurpose APO Telescope for Sun + Night-Sky
Modular designed multipurpose telescope, both for observing the sun in the H-alpha wavelength, as well as for night sky observations. Easy conversion between the different applications with a few simple steps. 3-lens apochromatic telescope with FPL-51 glass, 130mm aperture and 910mm focal length - excellent image quality for H-Alpha solar observation and also for observing the starry sky at night. With innovative air pressure tuning system, good 2 inch (50.8mm) R&P focuser, and B1200 blocking filter. Solar observing in H-alpha: The LS130MT/B1200 is a complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light, with 130mm free aperture (no central obstruction) and 910mm focal length. The H-alpha wavelength is the most impressive way to observe the sun, showing protuberances at the sun's edge, filaments and flares on the surface, and much more. An internal Etalon filter achieves a bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner. Tuning is done by slightly changing the air pressure in a pressure chamber inside the telescope. This changes the refractive index of the air, making it easy to tune to the H-alpha line. The pressure tuner guarantees a homogeneous image, without central obstruction, and a permanently protected Etalon without erosion. A set of collimating lenses installed in the telescope ensures best performance. Fine adjustment is achieved with a solid 2 inch R&P focuser with 10:1 reduction. Blocking-filter is the B1200. The B1200 is good for visual solar observing. Also solar imaging is possible by cameras with small sensor chip. We recommend a LS130MT with B1800 blocking-filter by using cameras with middle or large sized sensor chips, at very large sensor chips the B3400 blocking-filter. The star diagonal in which the blocking filter is installed, is equipped as standard for 1.25 inch eyepieces and with a T2 camera connection. Observing the starry night sky: The H-Alpha Etalon system can be removed from the telescope in a few easy steps thanks to its modular design. Then the 3-lens apochromatic refractor can be used as a normal telescope with 130mm aperture and 910mm focal length for observation and photography of the night sky. The FPL-51 triplet lens offers an outstandingly low colour aberration image. Common 2 inch star diagonals can be used at the R&P focuser of the telescope. Please note that the optionally available conversion kit 0551696 is only absolutely necessary for the LS130MT version with B3400 blocking filter if the telescope is also to be used at night. The conversion kit is not required for the versions with B1200 and B1800. More applications: With additionally available accessories the LS130MT offers even more possibilities! - Double-Stack The LS130MT telescope can optionally be upgraded with the additionally available double-stack module LS130MT/DSII (item number 0551690). The DSII system is a internal double-stack module with Pressure-Tuner. Thereby a bandwidth of <0.5 Angstrom is achieved for H-alpha solar observation. Therefore much more details on the solar surface will become visible. - Solar observing in White-Light If the H-alpha unit has been removed, of course either a sun filter can be installed in front of the objective, or a Herschel-wedge at the focuser can be used to observe the sunspots in White-Light. - Solar observing in Ca-K wavelengthThe additionally available "LUNT Ca-K Filter Module for LS130MT" (item number 0551697) can be used on the LS130MT to observe and photograph super-granulation and other effects visible at this wavelength on the sun. This makes the LS130MT a completely universal usable apochromatic telescope of highest quality! FEATURES 3-lens APO refractor, FPL-51 Aperture: 130mm (no central obstruction) Focal length: 910mm Bandwidth: internal Etalon with <0.7 Angstrom Tuning: air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner Blocking filter: B1200 with 1.25" and T2 connection Focuser: R&P with 10:1 reduction Two tube-ring with handle Sol-Searcher installed inside handle Dovetail bar at GP-level for astronomical mounts Weight: 12.1kg Length with blocking filter and dew-shield: 100cm Length without blocking filter and removed dew-shield: 80cm SCOPE OF DELIVERY LS130MT Multipurpose Telescope Pressure-TunerB1200 blocking filter in star-diagonal housingTube extension for using without H-alpha Etalon 2 inch R&P focuser with 10:1 reduction Tube rings with dovetail bar Transport case (92 x 42 x 35 cm) Instruction manual
