A very compact, complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light.The LS50THa solar telescope offers 50 mm free aperture, 350 mm focal length, and provides a bandwidth of <0.75 Angstrom. The telescope is fitted as standard with the air-pressure tuning system "Pressure-Tuner", the Etalon is safely installed inside the telescope. Prominences and surface detail can quickly be viewed spontaneously. This very portable system is an ideal travel companion for wherever you go.A B600 blocking filter is installed inside the star diagonal. The B600 offers a larger field of view than the smaller B400 and is very good for visual solar observing. Focusing is achieved by a non-roting Helical focuser.Please note that there is only a small back-focus at this telescope, therefore solar-imaging is very difficult. The LS50THa is designed for visual solar observing. We recommend for imaging the 60mm telescopes of the LS60MT series.Also double-stacking with a bandwidth of only <0.5 Angstrom is possible by using the additional available LS50C filter (0550210). Designed as a complement to the AXD2 equatorial mount, the AXJ mount offers outstanding durability and precision. The AXJ mount can also be used on AXD-TR102 tripods with an adapter. Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory (total of 12 points per 30 degrees worm gear) and corrected before delivery. This is known as V-PEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount. It delivers an accuracy of +/- 4.0 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors. Vixen uses a new Belt-drive system in the AXJ mount. The gear drive was replaced with a toothed belt drive. This gives the mount a quicker reaction time and lower backlash. It also helps to minimize noise. The 6x20 polar finder scope is pre-installed. This allows the user to configure the polar alignment (for both the northern and southern hemispheres). The polar finder scope has a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic power-off function. The brightness can be adjusted in 8 levels so that the user can configure the desired brightness. SETTING ACCURACY OF LESS THAN 3 ARC MINUTES The dark field illumination (red LED) turns on when the push button is pressed. The reticle also lights up in red so that the observer can recognize and align stars in the background of the reticle. The light turns off automatically after a few minutes to save battery power. 2 bearing sets (4 pieces) are used for the shaft of the RA axis. Thanks to the newly developed EQ design, the ZXJ mount has a higher load capacity of 22 kg. As the motors, worm shaft and worm gear are located in the lower part of the mount, fewer counterweights are required than with conventional mounts. The STAR BOOK TEN controller is a modern control system with a high-resolution colour monitor. The anti-reflection filter is an accessory for the DSII/SFPT double-stack module for the Lunt Solar Systems LS80MT and LS100MT telescopes. Reflections that may occur there can be effectively reduced with this anti-reflection filter if necessary.At the LS80MT and LS100MT multipurpose telescopes from Lunt Solar Systems, double-stacking is possible in H-alpha mode for solar observation with the internal DSII/SFPT double-stack modules (item number 0551395). The DSII modules reduce the bandwidth to <0.5 Angstroms. The DSII modules are designed to show better the surface details of the Sun, the contrast is significantly increased, and therefore filaments and active areas are better visible.But the DSII modules can also induce reflections, which can show up as a strong brightening around the sun. This so-called ''glow'' is not a problem when observing the solar surface. But it can complicate the observation of prominences, and many observers find it disturbing. The HRG/SFPT anti-reflection filter is designed to solve this problem. The filter effectively reduces the reflections. But please also note that the image will become darker by using this anti-reflective filter.The HRG/SFPT anti-reflection filter is easy to install. It is not necessary to return the telescope to the manufacturer, the filter can be easily installed by the user.This filter cannot be used separately!
