Product information "PULSAR Digital Night Vision Monocular / Clip-On Device Forward F455s"
The high resolution (1280x720 pixels) of the highly sensitive CMOS sensor ensures precise detail reproduction.
Enhanced night-time sensitivity
Thanks to modern electronic components and advanced signal-processing algorithms, the Forward F455s delivers one of the highest levels of infrared (IR) sensitivity in its class. It can operate in deep twilight and often at night without an IR illuminator. High sensitivity in the 900950 nm range allows use with invisible IR illuminators.
Compatible with a wide range of optical devices
The clip-on can be securely mounted to most binoculars, spotting scopes, or other optics with an external lens diameter of 42 to 56 mm using optional adapter rings. It can be quickly attached and removed as needed.
Stable point of aim
Thanks to the precise layout of optical and electronic components and exact optical and software alignment, the user does not need to make further adjustments when using the device at night.
Powerful long-range infrared illuminator
The Forward F455s features a detachable invisible (940 nm) IR illuminator. Three-stage power adjustment ensures effective, adaptive illumination for different situations. The beam position is also adjustable.
Over 500 metres night-time observation distance
High night sensitivity, display and sensor resolution, wide brightness and contrast adjustment range, excellent high-performance optics, and a powerful IR illuminator combine to provide a detection distance of up to 450500 metres in darkness.
Integrated video recorder
The built-in video recorder enables seamless photo and video capture. Files are stored internally and can be transferred to a smartphone or laptop via Wi-Fi or cable using the Stream Vision app.
Quick-change long-life batteries
The Forward F455s uses the autonomous B-Pack power system. The quick-change IPS5 (5 Ah) batteries provide up to 6 hours of continuous operation. The unit is also compatible with the higher-capacity IPS7 (6.5 Ah), IPS10 (10 Ah), and IPS14 (13.2 Ah) batteries. Wireless, fast-swapping, and long-lasting.
Quick start-up
The device is fully operational within 3 seconds of pressing the ON button.
Stream Vision app: Remote control, operation, and YouTube livestreaming via smartphone
The free high-tech Stream Vision app (compatible with iOS and Android) connects the Forward device to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi in real time. This enables file transfer, YouTube streaming (depending on model), and use of the mobile device as a remote control.
Firmware upgradeable
To update the firmware, all you need is the Stream Vision app, a smartphone, and an internet connection. This allows you to install new features and performance improvements on your existing device.
Four-point bayonet mounting system
The clip-on attaches to the adapter using a four-point bayonet mount. Pulsar offers three adapter models to fit daytime optics with objective diameters of 42, 50, and 56 mm.
Also compatible with third-party adapters
A wide range of adapter systems from specialised European manufacturers (e.g. Micron&Rusan and SmartClip) allow for easy installation of the clip-on to various daytime optics from other brands.
SumLight firmware algorithm for enhanced sensitivity
The SumLight feature increases sensor sensitivity for passive observation (without IR) in low light. The firmware automatically activates the algorithm: it combines subpixels and image grid data to enhance sensitivity without compromising image quality.
Fully waterproof IPX7
The Forward F455s is completely waterproof and IPX7 rated. It operates in heavy rain and can withstand temporary submersion.
Operating temperatures from -25 to +50°C
The Forward F455s guarantees reliable performance in extreme cold down to -25°C. The frost-resistant AMOLED display ensures sharp, blur-free imaging during movement, even in freezing conditions.
