High-sensitivity thermal sensor
The microbolometer with NETD <40 mK ensures the detection of details even under low thermal contrast. Rain, snow, fog, or early mornings after cold nights – the Proton XQ clearly reveals the slightest temperature differences in conditions that are typically challenging for both hunter and equipment.

Stable point of impact
A sequential layout of optical and electronic components, combined with precise optical and software alignment, allows the shooter to operate the clip-on device in front of the riflescope without needing to make further aiming adjustments. The clip-on’s design ensures a consistent point of impact when mounted in front of daytime optics and when refocusing the device at different distances.

Quick-release adapter with precise display alignment mechanism
The Proton XQ30 is mounted to the daytime optics using a new Pulsar PSP adapter. The adapter is quick-detach – the clip-on device can be mounted or removed within seconds. The precise alignment mechanism ensures perfect centring of the thermal image in the field of view of the daytime optics, providing maximum observation comfort.

Recoil-resistant for high calibres: 12-gauge, 9.3×64, .375H&H
Proven shock resistance – up to 6000 J – for flawless performance with large-calibre rifled and smoothbore hunting weapons (12-gauge, 9.3x64, .375H&H).

Easy conversion from clip-on to thermal imaging monocular (Please observe local hunting laws)
Just a few seconds and the Pulsar 5x30B monocular are enough to convert the Proton XQ30 from a riflescope attachment into a thermal imaging observation device with 5x magnification. A bayonet mount allows the 5x30B monocular to be easily and securely attached to the clip-on and removed just as quickly. Notably, the PSP adapter used to mount the Proton XQ30 to the riflescope can remain attached when using the monocular. This ensures seamless and fast conversion between a clip-on and a thermal monocular.

Shock-resistant magnesium alloy housing
The durable and lightweight magnesium alloy housing offers high structural rigidity, protecting the clip-on device from recoil and vibration when firing large-calibre hunting weapons. The metal housing is resistant to external mechanical, thermal, and environmental stress. It also efficiently dissipates heat from the device’s electronics, improving overall performance.

Wi-Fi. Integration with iOS and Android devices using the free Stream Vision app
The built-in Wi-Fi module enables the Proton clip-on to connect with Android or iOS smartphones and tablets via the free Stream Vision app. Combined with a smartphone, the thermal device provides a range of features including live streaming to a smartphone, motion detection, media transfer and sharing, firmware updates, remote control of device settings, and more.

8 colour palettes
The 8-colour palette simplifies observation, supports various tasks, and allows rapid adaptation to changing viewing conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are best for target detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are ideal for extended night-time observation.

IPX7 waterproof

IPX7 waterproof-rated to withstand heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The Proton is designed to operate reliably even after immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

High-contrast AMOLED display
The AMOLED display delivers sharp, high-contrast imagery. It is power-efficient, has a wide dynamic range, and fast response time, ensuring smooth image rendering during motion or in freezing conditions.

APS5 quick-change battery
The high-capacity Li-Ion APS5 quick-change battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. Built-in electronic protection systems ensure safety and durability. The battery can be removed and replaced within seconds.
