Product information "PULSAR Thermal Imaging Device Axion XQ30 Pro"
The Axion XQ thermal imaging devices use a new approach to image optimization, which provides high-quality reproduction of target objects and backgrounds depending on the purpose and observation conditions. Three levels of signal enhancement, combined with a smoothing filter and finely adjustable brightness and contrast settings, offer hunters excellent opportunities to detect animals at long distances under various weather and temperature conditions and to assess their trophy quality.
Durable Magnesium Alloy Housing
The Axion is designed for constant, often tough use. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet robust, protecting the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizing image noise and increasing the operational stability of the device during long-term observation.
Highly Sensitive Lynred Sensor with 384x288 Pixels
The Axion XQ30 Pro is equipped with a European Lynred sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 micrometers), which captures a usable signal even in challenging observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high humidity at the observation site.
F30/1.2 Lens with Large Aperture
The germanium F30/1.2 lens provides high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the highly precise manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image produced by the Axion XQ30 Pro thermal imaging device sensor is characterized by clarity and detail accuracy.
Long Battery Life: Up to 8 Hours of Continuous Operation on a Single Charge
A high-capacity rechargeable APS3 battery allows the thermal imaging device to operate continuously for up to 8 hours on a single charge. It can be removed from the battery compartment and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery can be charged in a special device or within the thermal imaging device via PC, wall plug, or power bank using USB-C. The same sources are used for the external power supply of the thermal imaging device.
Enhanced Wi-Fi Connectivity Supporting 2.4 / 5 GHz Frequency Ranges
The Axion XQ thermal imaging cameras complement the standard smartphone connection frequency range over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel with an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, noise resistance, and improved connection stability, resulting in a more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging camera with a smartphone.
850 m Detection Range
The F30/1.2 lens, combined with the highly sensitive 384x288@17 µm thermal sensor, provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected in complete darkness at distances of up to 850 m.
Field of View Over 13.3 Degrees
The Axion XQ30 Pro has a field of view of 13.3°, which makes scanning and searching for warm objects easier. The large field of view enables the observer to quickly identify all warm objects and focus on the most interesting ones while still keeping an eye on the entire scene.
Pocket-Sized and Lightweight
The Axion XQ30 Pro has a space-saving, pocket-sized design and weighs only 300 grams. Thanks to its symmetrical design and the arrangement of the buttons on the top, the device is easy to hold and operate for both right- and left-handed users.
Variable Magnification from 2x to 8x
The up to 4x digital zoom improves sharpness and makes it easier to detect objects at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted step-by-step in 2x increments or continuously for an optimal, situation-specific field of view.
Quick Start-Up
The Axion XQ30 Pro is characterized by a short start-up time: after pressing the ON button, the device is fully operational within 5 seconds. The quick start feature helps save power: the Axion XQ30 Pro doesn't need to be constantly on during the hunt but can be quickly started when needed.
Waterproof to IPX7 Standard
Waterproof to IPX7, protecting the device from heavy rain, snow, or other moisture influences. The device is designed to function perfectly even if submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Built-in Photo and Video Recorder with 16 GB Internal Memory
The built-in video recorder is a great advantage when it comes to recording unique experiences or taking photos. A simple press of the REC button is enough to start recording, which can be easily shared with colleagues, friends, and family. The internal 16 GB memory is large enough to store many hours of video recordings and a vast number of photos.
High-Contrast AMOLED Screen
The high-contrast AMOLED screen with VGA resolution has improved colour reproduction, is power-efficient, and responsive, providing sharp and fluid images even in frost.
Remote Control via Smartphone and Software Updates with Stream Vision 2 App
The integrated Wi-Fi connects the Axion XQ30 Pro with Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a variety of possibilities, such as wireless software updates for the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, sharing photos and videos recorded with the device on social media, or transferring them to messenger applications, remotely controlling digital device functions, and accessing the latest news from Pulsar. Additionally, registered users gain access to cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
8 Colour Palettes to Choose From
A selection of 8 colour palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks, and respond to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for detecting an object, while Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best for long observations at night.
