Product information "PULSAR Thermal Imaging Device Telos LRF XP50"
In high-tech industries, hardware and software solutions are constantly evolving and thermal imaging is no exception. Over time, user preferences and requirements change, often becoming more specific. The Telos line of thermal monoculars was developed with this in mind, making it the first upgradeable product line on the market. With Telos, you own a device you can upgrade over the years: enhance it with more powerful optics, higher-resolution sensors and displays, more efficient electronics, or new features like a laser rangefinder or additional optical channels all without buying a new device, just the upgrade.
Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor
The ultra-sensitive thermal sensor with a NETD value of <18 mK ensures outstanding image quality and detail recognition, even in adverse weather conditions with minimal thermal contrast. Even the smallest temperature differences become visible in rain, fog, or cold mornings the most challenging conditions for thermal imaging.
Advanced Pulsar Image Boost Technology
Pulsar Image Boost delivers exceptional image detail, clarity, and contrast using innovative image processing algorithms. Telos renders complex scenes in fine gradations of tone, showing low-contrast elements like sky, grass, or water surfaces clearly. Manual sensor sensitivity adjustment improves wildlife detection in poor conditions, while a smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings allow for long, comfortable observation.
Objective Ring Zoom Control
You can operate the Telos zoom and focus with one hand the rings are arranged in classic fashion on the objective lens, just like on a professional camera lens. This intuitive layout lets you quickly get a sharp image at the desired magnification with minimal effort.
Accurate Laser Rangefinding up to 1,000 m
Accurate distance measurement is critical when making decisions in the field. The built-in laser rangefinder measures up to 1,000 m in both single and continuous modes, with ±1 m accuracy for fast, precise target assessment.
Built for Harsh Conditions
Telos devices are built to perform in tough outdoor environments and operate in temperatures from -25°C to +40°C. They're waterproof even when fully submerged and their rubber-armoured polymer composite housing is tough, grippy, and ergonomically designed for comfort and safety, even with extended use.
Removable Battery with Wired and Wireless Fast Charging
The new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery provides over 8 hours of continuous use. It can be charged via USB-C with Power Delivery protocol no special charger needed. It also supports wireless charging.
Ergonomic, Non-Slip, Rubber-Coated Housing
The rubber-armoured housing ensures a secure grip in both dry and wet conditions. It is highly resistant to wear and withstands extreme temperatures, moisture, dust, and impacts. It is also easy to clean and retains its appearance over time.
Suitable for Left- and Right-Handed Users
Telos is ambidextrous by design. The vertical, symmetrical control layout features top-mounted buttons for either hand. Zoom and focus rings are centrally located, and the hand strap can be easily adjusted for right- or left-handed use.
Ergonomic and Functional Carry Case
A hunter needs to move quickly and stay unburdened. The Telos carry case is compact, sleek, and designed for ease of access. The strap system distributes weight evenly across the body, easing strain on shoulders, back, and neck. It allows full mobility bending, turning, climbing, or shooting is unimpeded. The case also supports modular attachment systems such as MOLLE, belts, or backpacks.
Customisable User Interface
Telos monoculars feature advanced functionality, but users can customise the menu layout to prioritise the features they use most frequently.
Detection Range
The fast aperture F50/1.0 lens combined with the professional-grade 640x480@17µm sensor allows detection of a standard 1.8 m object at up to 1,800 m in total darkness.
Fast Aperture F50/1.0 Lens
Optical quality is crucial to detecting minimal heat signatures. The Telos F50/1.0 lens and sensitive sensor deliver top performance even in rain or fog when thermal contrast is low providing clear, detailed, high-contrast imagery.
Integrated Video Recorder with 32 GB Internal Memory
The Telos includes a built-in video recorder. Its internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. Just press a button to capture the moment.
Stream Vision 2: Wi-Fi Integration with iOS and Android Devices
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Telos to the Stream Vision 2 app, allowing real-time streaming, remote control, firmware updates, sharing to social media or messaging apps, and access to the latest Pulsar news. Registered users get 16 GB of free cloud storage for photos and videos.
Dual-Band Wi-Fi Support: 2.4 / 5 GHz
In addition to 2.4 GHz, Telos supports the faster and more stable 5 GHz band, offering improved bandwidth, lower latency, and reduced interference for seamless smartphone connectivity.
High-Contrast AMOLED Display
The AMOLED display provides rich colour, energy efficiency, and fast response times for smooth, sharp imaging even in sub-zero conditions.
8 Colour Palettes to Choose From
Choose from 8 colour palettes to adapt to different tasks and conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance detail. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for long nighttime observation.
Waterproof IPX7 Rated (Submersible)
Rated IPX7, the Telos is fully protected against heavy rain, snow, and brief submersion (up to 1 metre for 30 minutes).
Wide Operating Temperature Range (-25°C to +40°C)
Its housing, battery, optics, and electronics are designed to perform reliably from -25°C to +40°C, even in freezing environments.
