Product information "PULSAR Thermal Imaging Device Telos XQ 35 LRF"
Telos is the new concept of an upgradeable thermal imaging monocular. This series of thermal imaging devices is the first on the market to offer the possibility of hardware upgrades. The components of the Telos can be replaced with new components offering improved functionality. The owner does not need to purchase a new device each time a different technology is introduced. Telos is designed to be durable and future-proof, continually adapting to the ever-changing needs of hunters. With Pulsars new concept of upgradability, your Telos becomes a renewable device or, if you like, a device for life.
The upgrade programme is on its way into production and will be introduced later this year.
Upgrade possibilities:
- Adding a laser rangefinder to non-LRF models
- Sensor upgrade
- Lens upgrade
Activate the haptic feedback function in the Telos quick menu for a more tactile and intuitive use of Pulsar premium handheld devices. The thermal imaging device responds with short vibrations when you press the control buttons.
Objective ring zoom control
You can ideally adjust the image on the Telos with one hand the rings for focusing and smooth zoom are located on the objective lens in the classic arrangement, one after the other, as on professional camera lenses. The even arrangement of the rings allows for quick and effortless adjustment to achieve a clear image with the desired magnification.
Accurate laser ranging up to 1,000 m
Correctly assessing the distance to the target is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre enables single and continuous distance measurements with an accuracy of ± 1 metre for fast and error-free assessment of the situation.
Built for the toughest conditions
Telos thermal imaging devices are designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and in temperatures from -25 to +40 °C. The device is waterproof even when fully submerged. The rubber-coated polymer composite housing offers the best handling properties. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimised housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort during prolonged use.
Replaceable battery with direct socket and wireless fast-charging option
The LPS 7i quick-change Li-Ion battery guarantees more than 8 hours of operating time. The LPS 7i does not require special chargers simply connect it to any mains adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it in the shortest possible time using the Power Delivery fast-charging protocol. In addition, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.
Ergonomic, non-slip, rubber-coated housing
The rubber-coated housing ensures the thermal imaging device sits securely in the hand in both dry weather and rain. The housing is exceptionally wear-resistant and perfectly withstands extreme temperatures as well as dust and moisture during use. It also protects the device in the event of drops. In addition, the housing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
Adaptable for left- and right-handed users
The vertical, symmetrical arrangement of the controls allows the Telos to be operated with either hand with equal comfort the buttons are positioned in a row on the top, and the objective rings are used for focusing and changing magnification.
Ergonomic and functional carrying case
A hunter needs to move quickly. Good equipment is defined by being available when needed and unnoticeable the rest of the time. The Telos case has an elegant exterior, is user-friendly, and comfortable to carry. The thermal imaging device can be quickly and easily removed and put into position. The optimal strap positioning distributes the weight of the device across the hunters body, reducing strain on the shoulders, back, and neck. The cover sits close to the body without hindering bending, twisting, crouching, moving cross-country, or using weapons. In addition, the Telos case is equipped with straps for attachment to a waist belt as well as to gear with a modular MOLLE mounting system, including backpacks and carrying straps.
User mode
Use the brightness and contrast settings to maximise image detail and clarity under specific observation conditions. The user mode function stores the selected brightness and contrast settings in the devices memory, ensuring optimal image quality the next time the thermal imager is used, without the need for additional adjustments.
Fast F/1.0 lens
The characteristics of the thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the devices ability to detect thermal radiation at the lowest levels. Combined with the highly sensitive sensor, the fast F/1.0 lens of the Telos offers maximum detection efficiency. In rain or fog, when the temperature contrast of the observed objects is minimal, the Telos consistently delivers a very high-quality, detailed, contrast-rich, and informative image to the user.
Built-in video recorder with 64 GB internal memory
The Telos has a built-in video recorder, and the internal memory of the thermal imaging device can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single press of a button is all it takes to capture an interesting subject or start video recording.
Stream Vision 2: Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
The built-in Wi-Fi connects the Telos to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This offers a variety of possibilities, such as wireless software updates for the device, real-time image transfer from the device to the smartphone screen, publishing photos and videos taken with the device on social media or sending them via messenger apps, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest Pulsar news. Registered users also receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device.
High-contrast AMOLED display
The high-contrast AMOLED display offers improved colour rendering, is energy-efficient and responsive, and delivers sharp and smooth images even in frosty conditions.
Support for two Wi-Fi frequency bands 2.4 / 5 GHz
In the Telos, the standard 2.4 GHz smartphone connection band is complemented by an efficient 5 GHz band. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, immunity to noise, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and straightforward operation of the thermal imaging monocular with a smartphone.
Waterproof to IPX7 (submersible)
Waterproof to IPX7 for protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation: the device is designed to operate flawlessly even after immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.
Wide operating temperature range (from -25 to +40 °C)
The housing, battery, optics, and electronics of the Telos are designed for use in a wide temperature range. The Telos ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing cold down to -25 °C.
8 colour palettes to choose from
With a choice of 8 colour palettes, the user can better observe the field of view, optimise the device for specific tasks, and respond to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for detecting objects; Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best for long night-time observations.
