That is normal. Finder scopes are only used to make objects easy to locate. The image orientation does not matter for observation.

  • Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
  • Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
  • Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Vixen AP-SM Mount with RA Motor Module and Star Book One Controller
The AP-SM mount is an enhancement of the AP mount. Unlike the AP mount, it has an RA motor and is equipped with the STARBOOK ONE controller. The AP mount provides a secure, stable support for your telescope. Thanks to the slip clutch mechanism, the mount can be adjusted quicky to the target object. There is a wide range of optional accessories. The ADVANCED POLARIS mount is ideal for both beginners and advanced observers who require a lightweight travel mount. STYLISH DESIGN The AP mount features an ultra-smooth finish without any projecting parts. Simply place your telescope on the mount and move it to the desired celestial object without having to loosen any clamps!
