STAR BOOK ONE CONTROLLER
The STAR BOOK ONE is a multifunctional and intuitive controller that tracks in the RA and DC axis with a range of different speeds. The tracking options are designed for time lapse cameras at a wide range of speeds, including sidereal, lunar and solar rates. The controller also offers many useful functions such as backlash compensation, autoguider port, PEC and a built-in red LED light. The STAR BOOK ONE controller is designed for the AP-SM mount and is an integral part of the RA motor module.

APP-TL130 tripod
The compact APP-TL130 tripod is adjustable between 60 cm and 130 cm and combines the portability of a camera tripod with the strength of an astronomical telescope tripod. The tripod can be switched between rubber and metal spikes to prevent floor damage in indoor spaces.

The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. With the smartphone app STAR BOOK Wireless (free of charge) you can perform celestial navigation without any wiring. The app turns your smartphone or tablet into a controller for the equatorial mount in no time. The response delay of the mount, which is considered the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired ones. Reduced power consumption compared to conventional controllers with LCD monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing longer observations than with conventional wired controllers such as the STAR BOOK TEN. Maksutov Newton MN-152 David H. Levy Comet Hunter Telescope Highly corrected optic for wide-field observation and astrophotography. Developed in collaboration with the famous "comet hunter" David H. Levy. The Maksutov-Newton system does have some pros and cons respectively to the classical newtonian design. Apart from the higher price the main disadvantage is the higher weight - the thick corrector lens at the front is the cause for this. The main advantage of the Maksutov-Newton compared to the classical newton is the sharpness of the field of view. Classical newtonian telescopes do show a sharp pinpoint star image only at the middle of the field of view - outside the optical axis they have a dominant abberation, the so called coma. This is inherent in the newtonian design, and therefore valid for all newtonian telescopes of all brands and not caused by manufacturing tolerances. Coma distorts the star image - the pinpoint star shows a tail, just like a small comet. This decreases sharpness and contrast considerably. The Maksutov-Newton shows a much sharper star image - for most applications the coma is not visible. This results in a high contrast image all over the field of view - for visual observations and for astrophotography with DSLRs alike. This makes the Maksutov-Newton a ideal all-purpose telescope, that is able to show a sharp field without the need for additional correctors.
