The BRESSER camera adapter is the ideal connecting piece between your 35 mm SLR camera or DSLR and your telescope. The adapter is suitable for 1.25" eyepieces with a larger housing diameter of up to 55 mm. Please note, this adapter will be suitable for most Refractors and Cassegrain designs, but may not be suitable for use with all Newtonian designs of telescopes, due to the comparatively short travel of focus in some Newtonians. Enables you to connect a camera to telescopes that accept 2" barrel eyepieces. You will need a T2-ring for your special camera type also. The very special feature of this adaptor is the very short mechanical design (2.0mm) which enables the camera use also on telescopes with a short focal range. This adapter is also prepared to use with 2" filters.

Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. This Vixen 90° mirrored Star Diagonal, with 1.25” / 31.7 mm nosepiece connection, makes observing objects higher up in the sky much more pleasant and also allows the user to revolve an eyepiece to a more comfortable observing position. This star diagonal is a good quality option and compatible with a large array of refractors and Cassegrain design instruments. It will accept 1.25” / 31.7mm eyepieces and accessories and also has a threaded nosepiece, into which can be fitted 1.25” filters, or Barlow elements, saving you the bother of having to keep swapping these when using different eyepieces. The inside of the diagonal is blackened to minimise internal reflections and light scatter and the body has a pleasingly well-engineered feel to it, without being too weighty. Eyepieces and other accessories are held in place by a simple-to-operate knurled set screw. As this is a mirrored diagonal, it also corrects the up/down orientation of image in astronomical refractors and Cassegrain telescopes, but please note that left and right will still be inverted within the field of view. The Vixen flip mirror is an ingenious solution for viewing in a straight line or at a 90-degree angle. The viewing angle can be changed by turning a wheel. The main connection features a 50.8 mm barrel, which is then reduced to one of the two 31.7 mm receptacles. There is also a T2 thread for a DSLR camera when the 31.7 mm eyepiece is removed. This allows you to connect your camera directly to the telescope with an optional T2 ring.
