Vixen SG-L02 Headlamp red-light white-light
The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem. However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility. They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark. The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm. The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen. FEATURES Dimmable red light ensures that your eyes stay adapted to the dark Built-in rechargeable battery, charges via USB Waterproof design LED colour can be switched from red to white 0.28 to 7.62 lumen for red light 3 to 42 lumen for white light Dimensions: 41 mm x 33 mm x 30 mm Weight: 29 g DELIVERY CONTENT SG-L02 head torch Strap (size S) Strap (size L) Pocket clip Cable for charging the battery (USB-A plug to USB Micro-B plug)

BRESSER Space Explorer MC 90/1250 Automatic-Telescope
Who hasn't dreamed of a trip to the stars? The BRESSER Space Explorer MC 90/1250 automatic telescope will take you on an exciting journey into space. The telescope is easy to use, even for beginners - after aligning with one, two or three stars, you can choose an object from the 270,000 pre-installed celestial objects. Whether you want to observe a fascinating gas planet or a bright deep-sky object, the telescope will automatically move to your desired target. Thanks to the built-in motors in both axes of the azimuthal mount, the target object is automatically tracked so that you can sit back and enjoy the night sky. Explore the night sky with the Maksutov telescope Featuring a long focal length of 1250 mm, this telescope is ideal for making exciting discoveries in the solar system and beyond. Take a close look at the gas clouds on Jupiter, or watch the rings of Saturn through the telescope for the first time with your own eyes. Thanks to the 90 mm aperture, the telescope collects about 165 times more light than the human eye. However, it's not just the planets that look stunning through the high-quality optics. It's also worth venturing further afield into space: marvel at the sight of the Orion Nebula, 1,344 light years from Earth, or the famous Ring Nebula M57 in the constellation Lyra. The two included eyepieces with 25 mm and 12.5 mm focal lengths will show you these objects and many others at 50 or 100 times magnification. And because the best observation spots are usually not found in your immediate vicinity, the telescope features a compact Cassegrain design for easy transport. If there is a stable table at your observation site, you can even leave the tripod at home. Everything you need for exploring the night sky The telescope also allows you to capture images of the night sky. Simply attach the smartphone holder to the eyepiece, and take snapshots of planets, open star clusters and other night sky objects. The telescope is also ideal for observing and taking photos of the moon. In order to comfortably watch Earth's natural satellite through your Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, it is best to use the included moon filter. The moon filter darkens the image slightly and increases the contrast to provide a more comfortable view. Perfect for exploring fascinating moon craters, lunar seas and shadows in the twilight zone! The telescope also comes with a star chart to help you navigate the night sky with its mythically named constellations. Discover the night sky with ease with the BRESSER Space Explorer MC 90/1250 automatic telescope - also ideal for beginners! FEATURES Compact telescope with automatic mount and tripod Pre-installed coordinates of over 270,000 celestial objects Optical design: Maksutov-Cassegrain Mirror diameter: 90 mm Focal length: 1250 mm Magnification: 50x / 100x (expandable) Mount: one-armed, azimuthal With LED viewfinder and integrated compass Motor drives: in both axes DELIVERY CONTENT Tube Mount Steel tripod Smartphone holder 2 pieces 31.7 mm Kellner eyepieces (K-25mm, K-12.5mm) LED finder scope Compass with bubble level Moon filter Astronomy software Star chart Instructions with warranty information

Vixen SXP2WL-VC200L Telescope Set
SXP2WL Mount with high-performance VC200L Cassegrain Mirror Telescope in complete setWith this complete telescope set, you can immediately begin your hobby. It includes everything you need for astronomical observation: the telescope, an automatic mount with GoTo alignment and tracking, a tripod, and two eyepieces. The SXP2WL mount comes with the PFL-II polar finder for quick and easy alignment using reference stars and the STAR BOOK APP. This allows your telescope to automatically locate the objects you've selected. The 259,000 celestial objects are already preloaded in the STAR BOOK APP. The VC200L Cassegrain telescope is optimized for photography and delivers a sharp and high-contrast image to the edges of the camera chip. You can look forward to breathtaking, razor-sharp images of galaxies and nebulae. But it is also excellent for visual observation, providing high-contrast images without color errors. You'll be amazed when you take a look at the lunar surface with its many craters or observe Saturn with its ring system. The VISAC primary mirror (= Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain) features a special coating technique (state-of-the-art technology) and provides the optimal mirror surface for observation and photography. This allows for controlled coating and corrects errors on the mirrors individually. Spherical aberration, coma, and field curvature are non-issues for this optic. Another reason for this is the three-lens field corrector in front of the convex secondary mirrorThe SXP2WL mount is operated easily via a WiFi module with your smartphone or tablet. The user-friendly STAR BOOK Wireless app is available free of charge to control the mount. This app allows you to easily use convenient sky navigation functions like automatic GoTo slewing to specific celestial objects directly from your smartphone or tablet. As the power consumption of the traditional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is eliminated, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. This enables longer periods of astronomical observation and astrophotographyIf you select a desired celestial object from a list, it is automatically slewed into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN control system can also be used with this mount without any problems. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the flagship AXD mount, the SXP2WL sets a new standard in performance and precision in the Vixen mount familyThe cross-axis of the SXP2 mount, with a photographic load capacity of 17 kg, weighs just 13.3 kg, making it ideal for mobile observations. Additionally, the motors installed in the lower part of the mount serve as counterweights. This reduces the need for additional counterweightsLarger ball bearings are used in the SXP2 mount compared to previous models to increase accuracy and load capacity. The mount housing is also characterized by thicker material. To further stabilize the polar block, the cross-axis is firmly clamped into a fork Very precise tracking with P-PEC functionThe SXP2 mount comes with the modern STAR BOOK TEN controller. It provides you with the P-PEC function for particularly precise tracking. The term 'PEC' stands for 'Periodic Error Correction.' The system corrects the mechanical errors caused by periodic errors in the gear systems. The P-PEC function stores your correction data even after the mount's power is turned off, so you don’t need to re-enter the data each time, allowing for faster operation and more accurate tracking Low-noise belt drive system with minimal backlash In conventional motor drive systems for equatorial mounts, gears are driven by the motor. However, this design has the disadvantage of introducing some play between the gears. To avoid the inaccuracies that arise from this, the SXP2 mount uses a belt drive system. This significantly reduces both the play in the gears and the operating noise. Additionally, the device responds more quickly to corrections 16 bearingsThe mechanical parts of the SXP2 mount feature a total of 16 bearings. The RA axis is supported by a set of tapered roller bearings, providing more stability for precise tracking Stable polar block for alignmentThe SXP2 mount uses the same fork as the heavier AXJ mount. This new design enables fast and stable latitude adjustment Simple and accurate polar alignment using reference starsThe 6x20 polar finder is pre-installed. It allows you to adjust polar alignment for both the northern and southern hemispheres. The polar finder provides a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic shutoff function. The brightness can be adjusted in 8 levels, so you can customize it to your personal needs. Additionally, the polar finder comes with direct adjustment using three reference stars and can achieve an accuracy of up to 3 arc minutes Variable mount headThe mount head has a diameter of 35 mm and eight threaded holes for M8 screws, arranged at 45-degree intervals. An optional accessory plate can be attached directly or in combination with an optional mounting block for dovetail plates. Additionally, the threaded holes on the mount head allow for the use of mounting rails from other manufacturers Combination of innovative, elegant design and user-friendly operationThe stable, rigid mount body with very accurate tracking has been further optimized by the P-PEC function. The SXP2 is a highly precise and easy-to-use mount that will delight every astrophotographer and observer Special motor placement for fewer counterweightsThe heavy RA and DEC motor units are located in the lower part of the declination body, placing the center of gravity of the cross-axis beneath the RA and DEC axes. As a result, the declination body acts as a counterweight. Additionally, the flat mounting head enables the mount to be balanced with significantly fewer counterweights Retractable counterweight shaftThe counterweight shaft is made of solid stainless steel and has a diameter of 20 mm. It is compatible with all counterweights from the SX and GP mount series. The counterweight shaft is housed in the declination body Accessory shoeFor simple and quick polar alignment, the #35511 Polar Meter can be slid onto this shoe Latitude adjustmentThe latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone for high, medium, and low latitudes) The Vixen WiFi adapter in detail The Vixen WiFi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. Using the free STAR BOOK Wireless app, you can perform sky navigation wirelessly. The app turns your mobile device into a controller for the equatorial mount in no time. The response delay of the mount, typically the main drawback of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired solutions Reduced power consumption compared to traditional controllers with LCD monitorsThe power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing for longer observation periods compared to traditional wired controllers like the STAR BOOK TEN Operation similar to the STAR BOOK TEN controllerThe STAR BOOK Wireless app is similarly structured to the STAR BOOK TEN controller. It contains up to 259,000 celestial objects depending on the star chart settings. Simply select a celestial object from the object list and start GoTo. The mount will automatically slew to the target and bring it into the telescope's field of view. All popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN are retained Comfortable operationWhen looking through the telescope, you can control the mount by swiping on the app’s star chart. Since there are no buttons, you can easily glide your finger over the star chart and comfortably control the mount Comprehensive astronomical data includedThis includes not only data on well-observed celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects, IC objects, but also the Sun, Moon, planets, comets, and dwarf planets Highly precise alignmentBy aligning with one or two stars, you can already achieve relatively accurate mount positioning. Aligning with three or more stars allows for highly precise mount alignment for high magnifications. The objects are then exactly centered in the telescope’s field of view. The alignment information is saved and can be retained even when the device is turned off. If you leave the telescope in its current state after a session, you can start the next session with the same settings without moving it Customizable settingsThe app, like the STAR BOOK TEN controller, offers various customizable settings such as gear backlash compensation, night mode in red, autoguider, variable GoTo speed, and LED brightness. You can also adjust the moment of the meridian flip (telescope tube inversion) as needed. Even if the object moves south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from inverting Technical information about the WiFi moduleCPU with 32-bit CISC processor 120 MHzThe unit is connected to the mount via a D-SUB 9PIN connector as with the STAR BOOK TEN. It has a 6-pin 6-wire modular connector for external autoguider operation. Vixen VMC200L Maksutov-Cassegrain mirror telescope - optical tube
Featuring an improved design and optical properties, this compact field corrected Maksutov-Cassegrain system is Vixen's answer to Schmidt Cassegrain and more conventional Maksutov Telescopes. Instead of a heavy corrector plate, the Meniscus corrector is located directly in front of the secondary mirror. As a result, the Field-Maksutov does not dew up easily, as most conventional SCT s and Maksutovs do, when exposed to humid air.  Thanks to the VMC's open tube system, the optics cool down quickly, ensuring that the telescope is ready for use in no time - again offering advantages over traditional Schmidts and Maksutovs, which can take a long time to acclimatise and reach thermal equilibrium. The long focal length of the VMC allows you to make detailed observations of planets, distant galaxies, individual lunar craters and mountains and many other celestial objects.  The mirror is manufactured using an advanced coating deposition technique, normally reserved for research-grade instruments - ensuring an extremely smooth and precisely-finished optical surface.  This, combined with the secondary corrector delivers extremely pleasing visual and photographic performance, with a very flat field.  Unlike the primary mirrors in many rival SCTs and Maksutovs, the VMC200L's primary is fixed and doesn't travel on a focuser baffle, adding to stability and as a result this telescope does not suffer from "mirror flop" or focus shift. The focuser is a conventional, smooth-running single speed rack and pinion design, which ensures stability, even at high loading.  It can be simply upgraded to dual speed use for finer focus control with the X000143 Vixen Dual-Speed-Focuser, if required. The telescope is supplied with a standard Vixen profile mounting dovetail bar and is also supplied with a carry handle, which makes transport and mounting much easier.  The carry handle can also double up as a mounting platform for other accessories, if required. The VMC200L is also supplied with Vixen's superb 7x50mm illuminated finderscope, with variable brightness control, to help you guide the telescope accurately to targets.Last, but not least, is the inclusion of Vixen's extremely useful flip mirror system, which allows for mutual mounting of 1.25" eyepieces or accessories.  Both eyepiece holders can be unscrewed, revealing a standard T2 mounting thread, which allows easy mounting of many cameras or other photographic accessories to either port.  The ability to be able to flip simply between visual use and a camera is of great help when trying to centre and image compact targets - speeding up acquisition of targets and making better use of your time under the night sky.FEATURES 200 mm mirror Focal length: 1950 mm (f9.75) Resolution and limiting magnitude: 0.45 arc seconds; 13.3 Light-gathering power: 816x Backfocus without Reducer: 144.9 mmBackfocus with Reducer: 63.5 mm Dimensions and weight: 232 x 510, 6.8 kg Adapter and connections: 60 mm thread WHAT’S INCLUDED Dovetail bar Flip mirror Carry handle 7x50 viewfinder, illuminated
