Vixen SG-L02 Headlamp red-light white-light
The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem. However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility. They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark. The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm. The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen. FEATURES Dimmable red light ensures that your eyes stay adapted to the dark Built-in rechargeable battery, charges via USB Waterproof design LED colour can be switched from red to white 0.28 to 7.62 lumen for red light 3 to 42 lumen for white light Dimensions: 41 mm x 33 mm x 30 mm Weight: 29 g DELIVERY CONTENT SG-L02 head torch Strap (size S) Strap (size L) Pocket clip Cable for charging the battery (USB-A plug to USB Micro-B plug)

Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras
Vixen 60DX Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras This Vixen 60DX is a photographic adaptor for Canon EOS cameras, for use with telescopes with a 60 mm focuser drawtube connection thread. A redesign by Vixen uses new tougher materials for a more solid connection and also offers an accurate, well-machined camera rotator ring, in order to help frame your images perfectly. Camera-Adaptor for Canon EOS with 60mm Focuser connection thread Large inner diameter for full-format cameras, helping to minimise vignetting 6 locking 60° spaced bolts to hold the camera’s rotation in position Dimensions: 81mm x 30 mm / weight: 190g The option of using 6 long or 6 short fixing screws for the rotator The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods. The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras. Canon EOS-Bayonet fastener made of hardwearing brass, for years of hassle-free use. Increased material quality over conventional adapters provides more stability in use. 6 fixing bolts hold the camera in rotational position for increased sturdiness (standard rotators often only use 4, or less). FEATURES Screw tips with Delrin-tips prevent tilting of the camera and subsequent image distortion. Large inner diameter prevents vignetting. Inner blackening suppresses scattered light. Compatible with 60 mm accessories, when the camera adaptor is taken off. Two rotational bolt sets (Long and Short) are supplied. SCOPE OF DELIVERY 60DA Focal adaptor 6 long and 6 short fixing screws

BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera & Guider 1.25"
BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera with autoguider: a great camera for different types of astrophotography and for autoguiding. Not only suitable for planets, but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Dedicated ToupSky Astro Imaging software supports video preview, video recording, video processing, image capture and processing, dark field correction and raw data output. Easy to use, but with professional results. One of the main features of the new backlit SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, which makes it possible to detect deep-sky objects without active cooling. SONY has increased the quantum efficiency at 533 nm wavelength up to 77%, which is much better than other CMOS sensors have been able to achieve in the past. Connect this camera to a guidescope and attach the camera's built-in ST-4 port, directly to your telescope's equatorial mount guide port and autoguide - using many popular audioguiding programs (PHD, Guidedog and more). Autoguiding enables you to take accurate pictures with long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. Simple automatic tracking at its best. You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes, or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25 " tube, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or C-mount adapter thread (1 "x1 /32"). Vixen SXD2WL AX103S Telescope Set
Complete Telescope Set SXD2WL AX103S with Wifi-GoTo Mount, Tripod, and Eyepieces This high-quality apochromatic refractor telescope set impresses with its intricate 103mm Triplet ED lens construction. The telescope is made in Japan and stands out for its excellent workmanship, sharpness, and contrast performance. The advantage of this APO refractor lies in its short build length and the completely corrected, edge-sharp optics. The AX103S is a top-class ED apochromat in the refractor range. It offers a Triplet ED lens and, in the rear area, a field flattener lens. The f8.0 refractor is equipped with a central ED lens in the objective and reduces chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum. An optional focal reducer can decrease the aperture ratio to 1:5.6 to achieve quicker results in astrophotography. The Vixen telescope belongs to the new Generation II with improved temperature-resistant lens cell. The integrated field flattener lens ensures a sharp image right to the edge of the field of view, which is very important in astrophotography. The AX103S is specifically developed for photographic purposes, but also visually a real highlight, especially for observing the moon and planets. You will be thrilled when you observe the moon's surface with its craters or Saturn with its ring system. On Jupiter, on a good night, the two bright cloud bands and many smaller details will be visible, as well as the great red spot on the planet. On moonless nights, you can observe the Andromeda Nebula, Orion Nebula, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula, and many other interesting objects. But even weaker celestial objects become visible with this large aperture under a good sky. This telescope set “Made in Japan” simply leaves no wishes unfulfilled. The AX103S is corrected up to full-frame photography and delivers razor-sharp images right into the corners of the image field. The large 60mm eyepiece drawtube also allows for attaching heavy cameras without tilting. Furthermore, the supplied flip mirror enables comfortable observing even in challenging viewing situations and additionally offers a T2 thread for connecting a DSLR camera. Thus, you can observe in straight view or at a 90° angle. The carrying handle attached to the tube clamps ensures a safe transport of the telescope. The dew cap can be retracted for transport or storage. The sturdy metal tripod allows for vibration-free mounting of the telescope and mount even in windy weather. The SXD2WL mount is simply operated via a Wifi module with a smartphone or tablet. For user-friendly control of the mount, the free STAR BOOK Wireless app is available. This allows you to use practical features of celestial navigation such as automatic GoTo slewing to specific celestial objects very easily via your smartphone or tablet. As the power consumption of the conventional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is eliminated, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. Thus, astronomical observations and astrophotography are possible over longer periods. By tapping the desired celestial object from a list, it is automatically slewed into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN control can also be used on this mount without any problems. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the flagship model, the AXD mount, the SXD2WL brings a new standard of performance and precision into the Vixen mount family. The axis cross of the mount has a photographic carrying capacity of 15 kg for only 9.2 kg and is thus excellently suited for mobile observations. In addition, the motors located in the lower part of the mount also serve as a counterweight. This means the mount needs fewer weights for balancing. The SXD2 Mount in Detail Precision stepper motors and Micro-Step Motion Control System The heart of the SXD2 are the precision stepper motors, which offer better performance and response than previous models. The Micro-Step Motion Control System is characterised by powerful yet very quiet drive properties, both in fine movements and in fast slews. Built-in bearings The bearings of the RA and DEC axes and the worm shafts have been significantly improved to reduce the load on the motors. This allows the motors to move much more quietly than in previous models. High-precision worm gears High-precision manufacturing technologies eliminate errors in the worm gears. The edges of both worms and worm gears are particularly smooth, allowing for very precise tracking. Declination axis as counterweight The massive motor units are built into the lower part of the declination axis, so that the centre of gravity of the SXD2 is below the intersection point of the RA and DEC axes. This means you need fewer additional counterweights. Latitude adjustment The latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone, for high, medium, and low latitudes); latitude scale in 2-degree steps; fine adjustment with a tangent screw head, approx. 0.8 degrees per rotation. Built-in PFL-II polar finder with illumination The built-in 5x20mm polar finder with 10° field of view features a 3-star alignment system. This eliminates the need to set date and time. The illuminated reticle with variable brightness and automatic shutdown is adjustable in 8 stages and illuminated in red. The adjustment accuracy is 3 arc minutes. The Wireless Module in Detail The Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. With the smartphone app STAR BOOK Wireless (free), you can perform celestial navigation without any wiring. Thus, the app instantly transforms your mobile device into a control for the equatorial mount. The response delay of the mount, considered the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired solutions. Reduced power consumption compared to conventional controls with LCD monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20% and thus allows longer observations than with conventional wired controls like the STAR BOOK TEN. Operation similar to STAR BOOK TEN control The STAR BOOK Wireless app is designed similarly to what you already know from the STAR BOOK TEN control. It contains up to 259,000 celestial objects depending on the star chart settings. Tap a celestial object in the object list and start the GoTo. The mount now automatically moves to this target and brings it into the field of view of the telescope. All popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN remain available. Convenient operation While looking through the telescope, you control the mount by swiping on the star chart of the app. Since there are no buttons, you simply slide your finger over the star chart, allowing you to conveniently operate the mount. Extensive astronomical data included This includes data on easily observable celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects, IC objects, as well as the sun, moon, planets, comets, and dwarf planets. High-precision alignment Alignment on one or two stars already gives you quite an accurate positioning of the mount. By aligning with three or more stars, a very precise alignment of the mount for high magnifications can be carried out. The objects are then positioned exactly and centrally in the field of view of your telescope. The alignment information is saved and can also be retained when the device is turned off. By leaving the telescope in its current state after an observation, without moving it, you can start the automatic installation with the same settings during the next observation. Individual Adjustment Options The app offers various individual settings such as gear backlash compensation, red night mode, autoguider, variable GoTo speed, and LED brightness, just like the STAR BOOK TEN control. You can also set the timing of the objective tube reversal (Meridian Flip) according to your wishes. Even if the object moves south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from reversing. Important Information Not usable on old SX mounts with the old blue Star Book Technical Information on the Wifi Module CPU with 32-bit CISC processor 120 MHz The unit is connected to the mount with a D-SUB 9PIN connector as with the STAR BOOK TEN. This is precisely where our aspherical mirror optics come into play. The VISAC primary mirror (= Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain) is specifically designed for astrophotography and delivers an entirely flat and true-colour image across the image frame. Spherical aberration, coma, and field curvature are absolutely foreign to this optics. The reason for this is the three-element field corrector in front of the convex secondary mirror. Although the telescope is designed for astrophotography, it can, of course, also be used excellently for visual observation. A special coating technique (state-of-the-art technology) provides the optimal mirror surface for observing and photographing deep-sky objects. It allows for controlled coating and individually corrects errors on the mirrors. Vixen SXP2WL-SD115S II Telescope Set
SXP2WL SD115SII Complete Telescope Set with Wifi GoTo Mount, Tripod, and EyepiecesThis high-quality apochromatic refractor telescope-set impresses with its 115-mm-SD optics. The telescope is made in Japan and stands out with its excellent craftsmanship, sharpness, and contrast performance. The advantage of this SD refractor lies in its lightweight design and ability to produce color-pure and contrast-rich images. You'll be amazed when you observe the moon’s surface with its craters or Saturn with its ring system. On Jupiter, during a good night, you’ll even see the two bright cloud bands and many smaller details, such as the Great Red Spot on the planet. On moonless nights, you can observe the Andromeda Nebula, Orion Nebula, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula, and many more fascinating objects. Fainter celestial objects become visible thanks to this 115 mm wide aperture under a good sky. This telescope set "Made in Japan" leaves nothing to be desired. The FPL53 glass used in the telescope reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image by nearly eliminating any residual color errors. The SD glass is designed to bring all rays – violet, red, blue, yellow, and green – to the same plane. This special lens material reduces chromatic aberration across all colors. The new Vixen SD115SII has no spacers, which significantly improves image quality, especially for bright stars. In photographic images, no spikes are visible on the stars, which were previously caused by spacers. In combination with the optional SD Reducer HD Kit or SD Flattener HD (not included), this refractor telescope provides an image circle of 44 mm for full-frame DSLR cameras. The older ED81SII, ED103S, and ED115S refractors were originally developed for visual observers and photographers using APS-C cameras. However, the new SD series, with the use of new internal baffles, has been optimized for full-frame cameras. The large 60-mm focuser also allows for the attachment of heavy cameras without tilting. Additionally, the included flip mirror enables comfortable observation even in awkward situations and offers a T2 thread for attaching a DSLR camera. You can observe straight through or at a 90° angle. The carrying handle attached to the tube rings ensures a secure grip when transporting the telescope. The sturdy metal tripod ensures vibration-free mounting of the telescope and mount even in windy conditions. The SXP2WL mount is easily operated via a WiFi module with a smartphone or tablet. The free STAR BOOK Wireless app provides user-friendly mount control. With this app, you can use convenient celestial navigation functions such as automatic GoTo slewing to specific celestial objects easily through your smartphone or tablet. Since the conventional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is no longer required, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. This allows for longer periods of astronomical observation and astrophotography.Select the desired celestial object from a list, and it will be automatically slewed into the telescope’s field of view, and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN controller can also be used with this mount without any issues. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the top model, the AXD mount, the SXP2WL sets a new standard of performance and precision in the Vixen mount family. The cross-axis of the SXP2 mount has a photographic payload capacity of 17 kg and weighs only 13.3 kg, making it ideal for mobile observations. Additionally, the motors in the lower part of the mount also act as counterweights, reducing the need for additional weights. The SXP2 mount features larger ball bearings than previous models to enhance accuracy and load capacity. The mount housing is also characterized by greater material thickness. To make the polar block even more stable, the cross-axis is securely clamped into a fork mount. The SXP2 Mount in Detail Stronger Mount BodyThe SXP2 mount is equipped with larger bearings than previous models to increase accuracy and load capacity. Additionally, the mount body is characterized by a thicker material. To further stabilize the polar block, the cross-axis is securely clamped into a fork mount. Very Precise Tracking with P-PEC FunctionThe SXP2 mount comes with the modern STAR BOOK TEN controller. It offers the P-PEC function for particularly precise tracking. "PEC" stands for "Periodic Error Correction". The system corrects mechanical errors caused by periodic gear errors. The P-PEC function available for the SXP2 equatorial mount is an enhancement of the PEC function. The P-PEC function stores your correction data even after the mount has been powered off. This means you do not need to re-enter the data every time, allowing for faster operation and more precise tracking. Low-Noise Belt Drive System with Minimal BacklashIn conventional motor drive systems for equatorial mounts, gears are driven by the motor. However, this design has the disadvantage of creating some backlash between the gears. To avoid the resulting inaccuracies, the SXP2 mount features a belt drive system. This significantly reduces both gear backlash and drive noise. In addition, the mount responds faster when corrections are needed. 16 BearingsThe mechanical parts of the SXP2 mount contain a total of 16 bearings. The RA axis is equipped with a set of tapered roller bearings to provide more stability for precise tracking. Stable Altitude Adjustment Block for AlignmentThe SXP2 mount uses the same fork as the heavier AXJ mount. This new design allows for quick and stable altitude adjustments. Easy and Precise Polar Alignment Using Reference StarsThe 6x20 polar finder is pre-installed. This allows for polar alignment in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The polar finder features a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic shut-off function. The brightness can be adjusted in 8 levels to suit your individual needs. Additionally, the polar finder is equipped with a direct alignment system using three reference stars and can achieve accuracy up to 3 arc minutes. Variable Mounting HeadThe mounting head has a diameter of 35 mm and eight threaded holes for M8 screws, arranged 45 degrees apart. An optional accessory plate can be attached directly or in combination with an optional mounting block for dovetail plates. The threaded holes in the mounting head also allow the use of rails from other manufacturers. Combination of Innovative, Elegant Design and User-Friendly Operation The stable, rigid mount body with very precise tracking has been further optimized by the P-PEC function. This makes the SXP2 a highly precise and easy-to-use mount, sure to delight any astrophotographer or observer. Special Motor Positioning for Fewer CounterweightsThe heavy RA and DEC motor units are located in the lower part of the declination axis, placing the center of gravity of the cross-axis below the RA and DEC axis. This allows the declination body to act as a counterweight. The flat mounting head also enables the mount to be balanced with significantly fewer counterweights. Retractable Counterweight BarThe counterweight bar is made of solid stainless steel and has a diameter of 20 mm. It is compatible with all counterweights from the SX and GP mount series. The counterweight bar is housed in the declination body. Accessory Shoe The #35511 Polar Meter can be easily and quickly attached to this shoe for polar alignment. Latitude Adjustment The latitude can be adjusted between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone, for high, mid, and low latitudes). The Vixen Wifi Adapter in Detail The Vixen Wifi Adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. This enables you to use the STAR BOOK Wireless smartphone app (free) for celestial navigation without cabling. The app quickly turns your mobile device into a controller for the equatorial mount. The mount’s response delay, often considered the biggest drawback of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired solutions. Reduced Power Consumption Compared to Traditional Controllers with LCD Monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, enabling longer observation sessions compared to traditional wired controllers like the STAR BOOK TEN. Operation Similar to the STAR BOOK TEN Controller The STAR BOOK Wireless App is similarly structured to the STAR BOOK TEN controller. Depending on the star chart settings, it contains up to 259,000 celestial objects. Simply tap on an object in the list and start the GoTo. The mount will automatically move to the target and bring it into the telescope’s field of view. All the popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN remain available. Comfortable Operation While looking through the telescope, you can operate the mount by swiping on the app’s star chart. Since there are no buttons, you simply glide your finger over the star chart to easily control the mount. Extensive Astronomical Data Included This includes data on well-observed celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects, IC objects, as well as the sun, moon, planets, comets, and dwarf planets. High-Precision Alignment By aligning with one or two stars, you can achieve fairly accurate mount positioning. By aligning with three or more stars, a highly precise alignment for high magnifications can be achieved. Objects are then targeted precisely and centered in your telescope’s field of view. Alignment data is saved and can be retained even when the device is powered off. By leaving the telescope in its current state after an observation without moving it, you can start the automatic installation with the same settings during the next observation. Customizable Settings Like the STAR BOOK TEN controller, the app offers various individual settings such as gear backlash compensation, red night mode, autoguider, variable GoTo speed, and LED brightness. You can also set the timing of the optical tube flip (meridian flip) as desired. Even if the object moves south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from flipping. Vixen SD115SII Telescope OTA
The Vixen SD115IIS is a new 115 mm apochromatic refractor with high-performance Super-ED glass (= SD). The advantage of this SD refractor is its short length and low weight. The FPL53 glass reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image by an exceptionally high degree of elimination of residual chromatic aberrations. The SD glass is designed to bring all beams of violet, red, blue, yellow and green very precisely together on the same plane. The special lens material, reduces chromatic aberration across all colours. The new Vixen SD115SII no longer uses spacer plates, which leads to a significantly better image quality, especially with bright stars. In photographic images, no spikes can be seen on the stars, which were otherwise produced by the spacer plates. In addition, you will be thrilled when you look at the moon or the brighter planets and observe the moon craters pin sharp as well as with extremely high contrast. Also look at the ring planet Saturn or the cloud bands on Jupiter. But of course, brighter deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula or the Andromeda Galaxy can also be observed in impressive detail. In combination with the new optional SD Reducer HD Kit or SD Flattener HD, this refractor allows illumination with a 44 mm image circle for full format SLR cameras. The older ED81SII, ED103S, ED115S refractors were originally developed for visual observers and photographers using APS-C cameras. However, the new SD series is also optimised for use with full-frame cameras through the use of new inner baffle rings. The large 60 mm eyepiece extension also allows heavy cameras to be attached without tilting. Furthermore, the included folding mirror allows comfortable observation even in unfavourable observation situations and additionally offers a T2 thread for connecting a DSLR camera. This allows you to observe in straight line or at a 90° angle. The carrying handle attached to the tube clamps ensures a secure grip when transporting the telescope. FEATURESObjective lens: D=115 mm, multi-coated 2-lens SD apochromat without spacer plates No more spikes on the stars Focal length: 890 mm (f7.7) Resolution and limiting magnitude: 1.01 arcseconds; 12.5 Light gathering power: approx. 270x more than the human eye Dimensions and weight: 125 mm dia x 920 mm; 6.3 kg Viewfinder telescope: 7x50 illuminated Adapters and connections: 60 mm thread, 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm socket, thread for T-ring Connection: 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm socket with flip mirror / folding mirror Photography: primary focus and eyepiece projection SCOPE OF DELIVERY Refractor SD115SII Telescope (OTA) Tube clamp with dovetail Dew cap Flip-Mirror / folding mirror Carrying handle Dovetail rail 7x50 viewfinder

AXD2 Goto Mount with AX103S Apochromat
AXD2 GoTo mount with AX103S telescope set The AXD2 mount comes with the new STARBOOK TEN controller and the PFL polar viewfinder, which allows you to configure the mount quickly and easily via reference stars. This telescope set has everything that you need for hobby astronomy. It includes a telescope, a mount with automatic tracking and a sturdy tripod. Featuring the STARBOOK TEN control system, the telescope locates celestial objects automatically so that you don't need to search for them manually.Even if you're not an expert, you can still give your friendsan exciting tour through the night sky! The AXD2 mount in detail:Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic)The A7075 superalloy, the strongest aluminium alloy, is used for the R.A. and DEC axes. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable.21 bearingsThe rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects.Stepper motorsVixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes.Worm gearsThe sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the R.A. axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability.Low backlashThe Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears.Elegant designThe flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality. The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range.Original motor layoutThe solid R.A. and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing.Polar finder scopeThe AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere. For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky.VPEC periodic error correctionPeriodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory and corrected before delivery. This is known as VPEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount. It delivers an accuracy of +/- 2.8 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors. The AX 103S in detail:The AX103S is a top-of-the-range ED apochromat in the refractor series. It features a triplet ED lens and a rear-mounted field flattener lens. The f8.0 refractor contains a central ED lens in the objective and reduces chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum. An optional focal reducer can reduce the aperture ratio to 1:5.6 in order to provide quicker results for astrophotographers. The built-in field flattener lens provides a sharp image across the entire field of view - an essential requirements in astrophotography. The 60 mm ring on the focuser allows you to attach a 2'' eyepiece and a camera adapter. The AX103S is specially designed for photography, but also offers stunning visual performance, especially for observing the moon and the planets. This telescope is guaranteed to provide a lifetime of outstanding performance!FEATURESAXD2 GoTo mount with AX103S telescopeProfessional telescope kitMount with 30 kg load capacity (photographic)Modern STARBOOK TEN controller with autoguider inputAXD 103S apochromat for full frame photographyIlluminated polar finder with direct star alignmentSturdy, vibration-resistant TR102 tripodTotal weight: 55.3 kgDELIVERY CONTENT AX103S apochromatTR102 tripod AXG half-pier 2 counterweights (1.5 kg and 7.0 kg) 7x50 finder scope Folding mirror Carry handle

It includes everything you need for astronomical observation: the telescope, an automatic mount with GoTo alignment and tracking, a tripod, and two eyepieces. The SXP2WL mount comes with the PFL-II polar finder for quick and easy alignment using reference stars and the STAR BOOK APP. This allows your telescope to automatically locate the objects you've selected. The 259,000 celestial objects are already preloaded in the STAR BOOK APP. The VC200L Cassegrain telescope is optimized for photography and delivers a sharp and high-contrast image to the edges of the camera chip. You can look forward to breathtaking, razor-sharp images of galaxies and nebulae. But it is also excellent for visual observation, providing high-contrast images without color errors. You'll be amazed when you take a look at the lunar surface with its many craters or observe Saturn with its ring system. The VISAC primary mirror (= Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain) features a special coating technique (state-of-the-art technology) and provides the optimal mirror surface for observation and photography. This allows for controlled coating and corrects errors on the mirrors individually. Spherical aberration, coma, and field curvature are non-issues for this optic. Another reason for this is the three-lens field corrector in front of the convex secondary mirrorThe SXP2WL mount is operated easily via a WiFi module with your smartphone or tablet. The user-friendly STAR BOOK Wireless app is available free of charge to control the mount. This app allows you to easily use convenient sky navigation functions like automatic GoTo slewing to specific celestial objects directly from your smartphone or tablet. As the power consumption of the traditional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is eliminated, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. This enables longer periods of astronomical observation and astrophotographyIf you select a desired celestial object from a list, it is automatically slewed into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN control system can also be used with this mount without any problems. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the flagship AXD mount, the SXP2WL sets a new standard in performance and precision in the Vixen mount familyThe cross-axis of the SXP2 mount, with a photographic load capacity of 17 kg, weighs just 13.3 kg, making it ideal for mobile observations. Additionally, the motors installed in the lower part of the mount serve as counterweights. This reduces the need for additional counterweightsLarger ball bearings are used in the SXP2 mount compared to previous models to increase accuracy and load capacity. The mount housing is also characterized by thicker material. To further stabilize the polar block, the cross-axis is firmly clamped into a fork Very precise tracking with P-PEC functionThe SXP2 mount comes with the modern STAR BOOK TEN controller. It provides you with the P-PEC function for particularly precise tracking. The term 'PEC' stands for 'Periodic Error Correction.' The system corrects the mechanical errors caused by periodic errors in the gear systems. The P-PEC function stores your correction data even after the mount's power is turned off, so you don’t need to re-enter the data each time, allowing for faster operation and more accurate tracking Low-noise belt drive system with minimal backlash In conventional motor drive systems for equatorial mounts, gears are driven by the motor. However, this design has the disadvantage of introducing some play between the gears. To avoid the inaccuracies that arise from this, the SXP2 mount uses a belt drive system. This significantly reduces both the play in the gears and the operating noise. Additionally, the device responds more quickly to corrections 16 bearingsThe mechanical parts of the SXP2 mount feature a total of 16 bearings. The RA axis is supported by a set of tapered roller bearings, providing more stability for precise tracking Stable polar block for alignmentThe SXP2 mount uses the same fork as the heavier AXJ mount. This new design enables fast and stable latitude adjustment Simple and accurate polar alignment using reference starsThe 6x20 polar finder is pre-installed. It allows you to adjust polar alignment for both the northern and southern hemispheres. The polar finder provides a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic shutoff function. The brightness can be adjusted in 8 levels, so you can customize it to your personal needs. Additionally, the polar finder comes with direct adjustment using three reference stars and can achieve an accuracy of up to 3 arc minutes Variable mount headThe mount head has a diameter of 35 mm and eight threaded holes for M8 screws, arranged at 45-degree intervals. An optional accessory plate can be attached directly or in combination with an optional mounting block for dovetail plates. Additionally, the threaded holes on the mount head allow for the use of mounting rails from other manufacturers Combination of innovative, elegant design and user-friendly operationThe stable, rigid mount body with very accurate tracking has been further optimized by the P-PEC function. The SXP2 is a highly precise and easy-to-use mount that will delight every astrophotographer and observer Special motor placement for fewer counterweightsThe heavy RA and DEC motor units are located in the lower part of the declination body, placing the center of gravity of the cross-axis beneath the RA and DEC axes. As a result, the declination body acts as a counterweight. Additionally, the flat mounting head enables the mount to be balanced with significantly fewer counterweights Retractable counterweight shaftThe counterweight shaft is made of solid stainless steel and has a diameter of 20 mm. It is compatible with all counterweights from the SX and GP mount series. The counterweight shaft is housed in the declination body Accessory shoeFor simple and quick polar alignment, the #35511 Polar Meter can be slid onto this shoe Latitude adjustmentThe latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone for high, medium, and low latitudes) The Vixen WiFi adapter in detail The Vixen WiFi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. Using the free STAR BOOK Wireless app, you can perform sky navigation wirelessly. The app turns your mobile device into a controller for the equatorial mount in no time. The response delay of the mount, typically the main drawback of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired solutions Reduced power consumption compared to traditional controllers with LCD monitorsThe power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing for longer observation periods compared to traditional wired controllers like the STAR BOOK TEN Operation similar to the STAR BOOK TEN controllerThe STAR BOOK Wireless app is similarly structured to the STAR BOOK TEN controller.
