The Vixen focal adapter can be used to connect your DSLR camera to your telescope via a 60-mm thread. The large internal diameter of the adapter prevents shadows at the edges of the image when using a full-frame DSLR camera. The focal adapter can also be rotated to rotate the field of view selection. Three locking screws are provided for clamping.Note: Vixen T2 ring also required for your Canon. This extension tube extends back focus depth to an additional 66 mm, for Vixen 60mm diameter focusers. It is suitable for extending compatible focuser drawtubes for use visually without a Star Diagonal but most commonly extends focus travel for astrophotography in a prime focus position, or for straight-through use with Barlow lenses and other accessories.
